Ingredients and Their Magickal Properties - Kitchen Magick
As I always mention in my recipe posts, the purpose of my work as a kitchen witch relies on knowledge and intention.
Yes, this recipe will still taste delicious without transforming it into a spell. However, knowing your ingredients is essential to utilizing this recipe to help change your mind, body, and spirit.
Below is a list of each added ingredient and its extraordinary power for this recipe. Please note that this is not every magical benefit of this plant or herb; these are just the areas I believe should be focused on for this specific recipe.
Blueberries
Blueberries, notorious for their role in the cautionary tale of Violet Beauregarde, possess remarkable health benefits rooted in their antioxidant properties. Embraced by holistic health enthusiasts, they have long been celebrated for their support in bolstering the nervous system, enhancing brain health, regulating blood sugar levels, and more.
Delving into the realm of spirituality, blueberries hold significance beyond their nutritional value. They are believed to facilitate the expansion of spiritual awareness and offer protective energies.
In our spellcraft, we harness these inherent qualities of blueberries not only to shield us but also to facilitate healing and elevate our consciousness, making it easier to tap into our cognitive abilities and unleash our full potential.
Magickal Powers: Abundance, Protection, Spiritual Awareness
Dairy (Cream Cheese & Milk)
While oat milk holds its appeal, there's an undeniable energy that dairy brings to the table, one that alternative options often lack. This can be attributed to its rich nutritional profile and its historical associations with revered deities such as Venus and Hathor.
Throughout history, milk has held a sacred status as one of the earliest revered foods, revered for its ability to enhance nourishment, beauty, prosperity, and protection. In our spellwork, we hone in on its powers of nourishment and protection, utilizing them to restore us to our rightful state of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Magickal Uses: Nourishment, Protection
Oats
Oats are a powerhouse of nutrition, reminiscent of dairy in their historical significance as a source of restoration.
Beyond their spiritual role in fostering rejuvenation and sustenance, oats are also believed to symbolize abundance and the opening of doors to new opportunities.
Magickal Uses: Abundance, Nourishment, Restoration, Opportunity
