Ingredients

Raspberry Preserves

• 6 oz raspberries

• 2 tbsp granulated sugar

• 1 tbsp cornstarch

• 1 tbsp water

Cookies

• 2 1/4 cup flour

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1 cup butter

• 3/4 cup brown sugar

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 1 dark chocolate bar, chopped

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients for the raspberry preserves in a pan. Smash the raspberries and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

2. Preheat oven to 375 F and prepare a baking sheet with greased parchment paper.

3. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients until mixed thoroughly. Set aside.

4. In a separate bowl, cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix thoroughly. Add in vanilla.

5. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

6. Add in chopped chocolate and mix to combine.

7. Once cool, add in the raspberry preserves. Do not overmix; we want the batter to have swirls for raspberries.

8. Drop 2 tbsp rounds of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

9. Eat and serve with the intention of dropping into your powerful self.
