*When adding your ingredients, remember to focus on the intention of the ingredient while working with it. (I.E., when adding your butter, focus on the intention of nourishment).

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour

• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

• 1 tsp salt

• 2 eggs

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted & cooled

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 2 tsp almond extract

• 1 cup slivered almonds

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 F and prepare a baking sheet with greased parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients until mixed thoroughly. Set aside.

3. In a separate bowl, cream together eggs and sugar using a mixer, if possible. Whisk on medium-high for about 5 minutes until the mixture has thickened.

6. While mixing, add in the melted cooled butter.

8. Add extracts and mix to combine.

10. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients.

11. Add in almonds.

13. Using damp hands (as the dough will be sticky), form the dough into a mound, drop it onto the middle of the baking sheet, and form it into a rectangle, ensuring the dough is about 3/4" - 1" deep.

14. Add to oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes, until golden.

15. Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 300 F.

16. Transfer biscotti to a cutting board by flipping the paper gently or using a spatula.

17. Slice the biscotti in half, then by the short side, about 1" thick.

18. Add back into the oven, and bake for 18-20 minutes.

19. Remove from oven and allow to cool and fully harden.

20. Serve and eat with the intention of expressing your authenticity and self-love.
